These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Elysian Trails website, our Customized Itinerary Generator, and any excursion, hike, corporate outing, or educational expedition ("Trip") booked with us. By booking a Trip or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Elysian Trails is operated by Elysian Trails LLP (LLPIN: ACL-3040), registered at No. 475, 5th RBI Layout, JP Nagar, Bangalore South, Karnataka, India, 560078 ("Elysian Trails", "we", "us", or "our").

Elysian Trails offers:

• Educational excursions and learning expeditions for universities and institutions
• Weekend hikes and adventures around Bangalore
• Corporate team outings
• A self-serve Customized Itinerary Generator covering verified destinations across select states
• Recommendations for accommodation, including properties we have a business relationship with (see Section 6)

Trips may be booked through our website, WhatsApp, or directly with our team. A booking is confirmed only once payment (in full or as a deposit, as specified at the time of booking) has been received. Where applicable, payments are processed through a third-party payment gateway; Elysian Trails does not store your card or banking details.

Prices are subject to change until a booking is confirmed. Once confirmed, the price will not change except in cases of factors outside our control (e.g. changes to transport, permit, or entry fees imposed by third parties).

We understand plans change. Our standard cancellation policy is as follows (placeholder windows below — please confirm these against your actual policy):

• 30+ days before the Trip: full refund, minus any non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred (e.g. permits, advance transport bookings).
• 15–29 days before the Trip: 50% refund.
• Less than 15 days before the Trip: no refund, as logistics and headcount-based costs are locked in by this stage.
• No-shows on the day of the Trip are not eligible for any refund.

If Elysian Trails cancels a Trip (e.g. due to insufficient sign-ups, weather, or safety concerns), participants will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.

Our Trips may involve outdoor and adventure activities — trekking, water activities, travel on uneven or remote terrain, and exposure to weather and natural conditions. By participating, you acknowledge that such activities carry inherent risk, and you voluntarily assume that risk.

Participants are responsible for disclosing any relevant medical conditions before the Trip and for their own health, medication, and safety precautions during it. Elysian Trails and its guides will take reasonable care to ensure participant safety, but we are not liable for injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from participation, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Elysian Trails is not liable for delays, losses, or damages caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or third-party service failures.

Our Customized Itinerary Generator may recommend accommodation properties marked as "Partner Stay." Elysian Trails has a commercial/business relationship with these properties, and may receive a referral benefit, commission, or preferential (B2B) rate for bookings made through us — which we aim to pass on as a better price than booking direct wherever possible.

You are under no obligation to book through Elysian Trails and are free to book any recommended property independently. Where you choose to book a stay through us, that booking is subject to the individual property's own terms, cancellation policy, and availability, in addition to these Terms.

Itineraries generated through our tool are produced from our internally verified places database and, for non-subscribers, may use a randomized daily selection. Itineraries are provided for informational and planning purposes only. While we verify places to the best of our ability, we cannot guarantee real-time accuracy of opening hours, accessibility, or seasonal conditions (e.g. waterfall water levels) — always confirm details locally before visiting a lesser-known spot. Certain features (e.g. subscriber-only lesser-visited locations, multi-day plans beyond 2 days) are reserved for subscribers as described on the site at the time of use.

When participating in a Trip or using our website, you agree not to endanger yourself or others, damage property, act in a manner disruptive to the group or local communities, or use our website/tools for any unlawful purpose.

All content on this website — including text, itinerary data, photographs, and the Elysian Trails name and logo — is the property of Elysian Trails LLP or its licensors, unless otherwise credited. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially use this content without our prior written consent.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elysian Trails' total liability arising from any Trip or use of our website shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that Trip. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
