Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Elysian Trails website and Customized Itinerary Generator, operated by Elysian Trails LLP (LLPIN: ACL-3040), registered at No. 475, 5th RBI Layout, JP Nagar, Bangalore South, Karnataka, India, 560078 ("Elysian Trails", "we", "us", or "our").

• Account information: if you sign in to generate personalized itineraries, we collect your email address via a passwordless magic-link sign-in. We do not collect or store passwords.
• Trip preferences: the inputs you choose in the Customized Itinerary Generator (region, interests, travel month, group size, etc.) and, for signed-in users, a record of how many itineraries you've generated, so we can apply free-tier and subscriber limits correctly.
• Booking & contact details: if you reach out to book a Trip or a partner stay (e.g. via WhatsApp or email), we collect what you share with us in that conversation — typically your name, contact number, and trip details.
• Payment information: where a Trip requires payment, this is processed through a third-party payment gateway. Elysian Trails does not receive or store your full card, UPI, or bank account details.
• Technical information: standard website usage data (e.g. pages visited, device/browser type) which may be collected automatically to keep the site running smoothly.

• To generate and deliver your itinerary, and to apply the correct access tier (free/subscriber) to your account.
• To confirm bookings, coordinate logistics, and communicate with you about a Trip.
• To connect you with partner-stay properties when you choose to pursue a recommended stay (see Section 5).
• To improve our destination database, tools, and overall service.
• To respond to enquiries sent via WhatsApp, email, or our website.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Our website may use cookies or browser local storage to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences (e.g. your last-selected region in the itinerary generator). These are used for functionality, not for third-party advertising.

• Infrastructure & authentication: our website, database, and sign-in system are hosted via a third-party backend platform, which processes data on our behalf under its own security practices.
• Payment processing: payments are handled by a third-party payment gateway, which processes your payment details directly and securely.
• Partner stay properties: if you choose to pursue a recommended "Partner Stay," we may share your enquiry details with that property to help coordinate your booking, with your consent at the time.
• Messaging: if you contact us via WhatsApp, that conversation is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy practices in addition to ours.

We retain account and booking information for as long as your account is active or as needed to fulfil a Trip, respond to enquiries, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your account data at any time (see Section 8).

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop processing it for specific purposes, by writing to us at the contact details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Our services are intended for use by adults booking on behalf of themselves, their institution, or their group. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Educational excursions organized through institutions are governed by arrangements made with the institution, not directly with individual students.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

For any questions about this Privacy Policy, or to exercise your data rights, reach us at info@elysiantrails.com or +91 7892048025.
